Our History
Allied Physical Therapy was founded in 1986 by Dennis Flanagan and relocated to Farmington, Maine in 1991 with Dennis as the sole practitioner. Dennis and Stephanie Flanagan dedicated their lives to building a physical therapy clinic that has been an important part of the community for 30 years. Over the years, they developed a reputation as providing the best physical therapy services in the area. At the time Dennis retired, the practice had grown to 6 providers and expanded to include a satellite clinic in Kingfield.
In 2017, Justin Longhurst joined the team at Allied Physical Therapy. Justin graduated from Weber State University in Ogden, UT with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and went on to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri. Together, with his wife Kathryn, they bought the clinic in January 2021 with the goal to take this already great physical therapy clinic forward.
